These types of therapeutics are based on elimination and rejuvenating therapy. In order to stay healthy and fit one should carry out Panchakarma methods as a way of cleansing and servicing the body. The greatest benefit of this system is preventing possible serious illness due to 'Srothas Avarodha' obstruction of channels or ducts.

ABHYANGA

A method of Ayurveda - the ancient science of perfect health, this full body wake-up call works to protect, preserve and rejuvenate your body and mind by balancing the energy inside your body. A massage technique traditionally performed using medicated oils, Abhyanga is deeply relaxing and an experience your entire body will thank you for.  During Abhyanga, marma points (vital spots found in specific areas all over the body) will be stimulated which helps with detoxification and energy flow. It also improves lymph flow and boosts your immune system as well as simultaneously calming and strengthening the nervous system.  If you're feeling nervous or lethargic, or suffer from sleep deprivation, the warm oils help calm the mind and nervous system leaving you feeling relaxed, rested and calm, despite being more focused and alert. The warmth of the oils will also work to strengthen and lubricate joints, making them more resilient to wear and tear, so it is advised as a treatment if you're subject to the joys of joint aches and pains. Abhyanga nourishes the skin, and gradually the tissues beneath.  With habitual use of this technique, each of the dhatus is replenished.  Dhatus are the seven levels of bodily tissue that create the structure and make the functioninig of bodily systems possible.

SWEDANA ( Ayurvedic herbal steam)

Swedana (Ayurvedic Steam) is a treatment modality common to ayurvedic clinical practice. Practiced either as a preparatory component to Panchakar a or as an independent intervention, Swedana is praised for its relaxing and detoxifying effects all through the classical Ayurvedic texts.

SHIRODHARA

Shirodhara balances such conditions such as insomnia, stress and headaches. Although it's a relatively short treatment, an experience of timelessness is a common result.  The affect of Shirodhara is indescribable, but recipients often report an effortless recognition of their true nature. Shirodhara is a form of Ayurvedic snehana therapy in which a steady stream of warm oil flows from a vessel in specific patterns over the forehead. Sesame oil is the most commonly used base, often infused with mind-calming herbs such as brahmi (gotu kola), bhringraj, skullcap and others. Depending on the constitution (prakruti)and current state (vikruti) of the individual, and the season of the year, coconut, sunflower and other oils are sometimes used, as well as herbal infusions in water, milk and buttermilk.

SHIRO-ABHYANGA

Also known as Indian head massage, Shiroabhyanga is one of at least 40 different types of massage that, along with a host of other diagnostic tools, are utilized by ayurvedic practitioners to address symptoms and conditions of ill health. It only takes a light touch to make your scalp tingle. Shiro-abhyanga is a gentle healing treatment based on ayurvedic philosophy. It's been a part of traditional family life in India for over a thousand years, helping to relieve stress, ward off illness and strengthen relationships through physical affection. The intent of this massage is not only to ward off stress, but also to stimulate the body to heal itself and to reduce the rate of progress of the prevailing condition. We've all either had the pleasure of someone rubbing the tension from our scalp or neck or done it ourselves. Shiroabhyanga is said to balance every system in the body, and the benefits associated with it make up a lengthy list. Topping that list is its ability to combat stress and anxiety and help us find balance.

NASYA

Sinus problems are common, often due to digestive overwhelm or the inappropriate immune reactions that can result from long-term digestive abuse. Topical treatment can be effective in restoring clear breathing and reducing headaches or other problems caused by sinus challenges.
After a head, neck and face massage, steam is applied to the sinus area to "ripen" the site for receiving treatment. Then warm, herbal oil is applied through each nostril while the head is supported in position to absorb the treatment.

KARAN PURNA

Karna Purna is the application of warm oil into each ear. It is a way of calming the nervous system and provides effective treatment for reducing Vata, jaw tension, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), sinus infections, sore throats, colds and head congestion.

BASTI

Basti is used to pacify the aggravated Vata. There are several types like
  • Kati Basti
  • Uro Basti
  • Janu Basti
  • Netra Basti
